In collaboration with Project Seagrass and Car-y-Môr, we hosted a series of workshops and public engagement activities as part of European Maritime Day.
The event brought together environmental education, food culture, and marine industry awareness, with live cooking
demonstrations featuring seaweed alongside information stalls and discussions.
The day aimed to deepen public understanding of the ecological and social value of seaweed, shellfish, and seagrass habitats, while highlighting the importance of inclusive, community-connected approaches to maritime development.
It offered an accessible introduction to the opportunities and challenges within marine conservation and sustainable
coastal industries.
