Made to order. Ships in around 8 weeks.
The SubCam 3 is a rugged, low-cost underwater camera for scheduled monitoring of marine and freshwater life. Built for long unattended deployments, it wakes on a schedule you set, records short HD video clips or stills, then sleeps, giving you weeks of footage from a single charge. A marine-grade acetal housing, autofocus and app-based setup make it equally at home on a seabed lander, a structure, a rope, or over the side of a boat.
PEBL designed the SubCam for the people who do the monitoring: researchers, conservation groups, aquaculture and seaweed farms, fisheries, and offshore renewables teams who need credible visual evidence without a five-figure budget.
Recommended mooring: Pre-cut, self-assemble galvanised steel 'Microlander' frame sized to your site (Low, Med or High exposure). Parts ship pre-cut for self-assembly from themetalstore.co.uk; rope, buoy and clump weight are sourced locally. See our mooring guide at docs.pebl-cic.co.uk for more details.
