Hatchery & Biosecurity
Beth Marshall
Beth is an experienced aquaculture technician, having worked at MOWI, one of the largest players in aquaculture globally. She brings a wealth of expertise in hatchery management, biosecurity control and designing culture systems. She is not afraid to get her hands on the powertools and is always pushing our hatchery systems to the next level.
Design & Engineering
Craig WIlliams
Craig is a product design engineer with experience in designing electronics products for the marine industry. He has developed multiple award-winning products in his previous role at Scanstrut and also brings extensive manufacturing expertise from his experiences of working at the inspiring outdoor cookware company Madog Outdoors.
Science & Outreach
Caitlin Taylor-Robinson
Caitlin is our Seaweed Science expert. She completed her Masters in Marine Biology at the University of Plymouth and the Marine Biology Association researching the ecological interactions of native Kelp species. She is also a passionate Science writer and runs an exciting blog of her own 'TheTinyConservationist". Check it out!
Project Management
Christian Berger
Christian has a background in sensor design and manufacture, having completed his PhD at the University of Manchester in Microelectronics and Material Science. He also previously led a team of Engineers at Atomic Mechanics developing advanced sensor electronics for the Agri-tech and Robotics Industry.
Public Engagement & Arts
Dani Abulhawa
Dani is a Lecturer in Applied Performance at the University of Leeds. Dani is carrying out interdisciplinary research between Industry and the Arts to support the aquaculture industry. Using her expertise in facilitation of creative workshops and public engagement she is constantly inspiring newcomers in the industry.
Data Analyst
Polina Papazova
Poli is a Biochemist by training with an expertise in synthesising large data sets into digestible graphics and reports for our clients. She is responsible for ensuring data-sets are complete and accurate and is constantly improving the way we translate environmental and ecological data into actionable insights.
Marine Monitoring
Fergus Evans
Fergus can often be found in the thick of it, surfing, kayaking, or coasteering. He is currently supporting Car-Y-Mor as a deck hand and field scientist at thier seaweed and shellfish farm whilst researching the environmental impacts of Sea-farming for his degree. Fergus leads our monitoring program in Pembrokeshire and as a hardy sea-man he is not afraid to deploy our environmental loggers even in the midst of the winter swells.
